This seminar met on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 until 3:20. I was excited to start this class since I have some experience with augmented reality technologies, but I really did not know anything about the background of the field or how complicated it is. I was also excited to try out different forms of augmented reality, and I hated being in the hospital the day the class got to try the Hololens. Tuesdays were lecture days in class, but Thursdays had a lot more variety so I always looked forward to them. We had debates, did group exercises, tried different games or technologies, and sometimes worked on assignments. These classes were great because I understood what we were learning a lot better in that context than in the lectures on Tuesdays. We are about to start our final project, which can be an extension of our first, second, or third assignments for the course. I am planning on expanding on the third assignment, which we are working on currently and involves research based on data we collected over the course of the semester. This class challenged me to think more technically and to understand a kind of technology within multiple industries and career fields.
